President Donald Trump said he will attend Saturday’s dignified transfer ceremony for six U.S. soldiers killed in Kuwait during Iran’s retaliatory attacks following U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran.

Trump said he would travel to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware with First Lady Melania Trump and members of his Cabinet to honor the fallen service members as their remains return to the United States.

“I will be going to Dover Air Force Base tomorrow, with the First Lady and Members of my Cabinet, to pay our Highest Respect to our Great Warriors, who are returning home for the last time,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “GOD BLESS THEM ALL!”

The U.S. Army identified the soldiers as Sgt. 1st Class Nicole Amor of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; Capt. Cody Khork of Lakeland, Florida; Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens of Bellevue, Nebraska; Sgt. Declan Coady of Des Moines, Iowa; Maj. Jeffrey R. O’Brien, 45, of Indianola, Iowa; and Chief Warrant Officer Three Robert M. Marzan, 54, of Sacramento, California.

Officials said the soldiers were in a temporary office area at Shuaiba Port when Iranian drones struck the site without warning. The Pentagon said the facility was considered a secure location, and the incident remains under investigation.
