Spain said it opposes the idea that global conflicts can be resolved through military force, urging a renewed focus on diplomacy and dialogue.
Spanish officials said the country “rejects the idea that the world can solve its problems through bombs,” emphasizing that political negotiations and international cooperation remain the only sustainable path to resolving major crises.
The statement comes amid escalating tensions following recent military strikes in the Middle East and growing concern among European governments about the risk of a wider regional conflict.
Spain has repeatedly called for restraint and de-escalation, warning that continued military action could deepen instability and lead to broader humanitarian consequences.
Madrid said it will continue working with European Union partners and international institutions to promote diplomatic solutions and prevent further violence.
