Turkiye has warned that Israel’s military campaign in Lebanon could push the country toward collapse as fighting between Israeli forces and Hezbollah intensifies.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Israel was bringing its “dirty war” into Lebanon and warned that continued attacks risk destroying the fragile Lebanese state as reported by Al Arabiya

He said the strikes must stop before the situation causes wider regional instability.

The warning comes as Israeli airstrikes and clashes with Hezbollah escalate across southern Lebanon and Beirut, with hundreds killed and hundreds of thousands displaced during the latest round of fighting.

Fidan also warned that a collapse of Lebanon would have major consequences for the entire region, particularly neighboring countries already facing security and refugee pressures as the Middle East conflict widens.
