Kyiv Targets Companies Providing Components for Russian Missiles

Ukraine has imposed sanctions on foreign companies that supply components used in Russian missiles, officials said. The move is part of Kyiv’s effort to curb Moscow’s military capabilities amid the ongoing conflict.

The Ukrainian government said the targeted companies were directly involved in providing materials and technology that support Russia’s missile production and deployment. Authorities stressed that the sanctions aim to disrupt supply chains critical to Russia’s war efforts.

“This decision is necessary to prevent foreign entities from indirectly contributing to the escalation of the conflict,” a Ukrainian official said.

Kyiv has previously taken similar measures to pressure international partners and reduce support for Russian military operations.

The sanctions list includes firms from multiple countries, highlighting Ukraine’s focus on tracking the global networks that sustain Russia’s military programs.

Analysts say the move could complicate Moscow’s access to specialized components and slow its weapons manufacturing.
