Polish Prime Minister Says Country Ready to Respond to Attacks and Provocations

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Tuesday that Poland is ready to respond to any attack or provocation against the country. His comments followed reports of increased security concerns on Poland’s eastern border amid ongoing tensions in the region.
Tusk stressed that Polish authorities are closely monitoring the situation and working with allies to ensure national security. He said the government would take strong action if national security or sovereignty were threatened.
The statement comes as Poland still faces border threats linked to the conflict in Ukraine and incidents involving Russian drones flying over Polish airspace.
